Reiya Group is seeking a Seasonal Sole Chef to join a 30m+ Private Motor Yacht operating a busy Mediterranean season for a private owner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and organised chef with a strong background in classical fine dining cuisine to join a professional crew environment for the summer season. The role is best suited to someone confident working independently, maintaining exceptionally high culinary standards and delivering refined guest experiences throughout a demanding owner program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all galley operations onboard, producing high-end cuisine while managing provisioning, galley organisation and daily meal service for both guests and crew.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present high-end meals for owners and guests to an exceptional standard
• Produce refined classical French fine dining cuisine
• Cater for guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Manage all galley operations independently and efficiently
• Oversee provisioning, stock control and budgeting
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the galley at all times
• Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are followed
• Plan varied and creative menus throughout the season
• Provide crew meals daily to a high standard
• Work closely with the Captain and crew to ensure smooth onboard operations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Sole Chef onboard yachts preferred
• Strong background in classical French fine dining cuisine
• Michelin-starred and/or high-end land-based restaurant experience essential
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Calm under pressure with the ability to manage a busy owner program
• Professional, positive and adaptable attitude
• Strong knowledge of food safety and galley management
• Valid Schengen visa if applicable
Package:
• Start date: ASAP until approximately end of September
• Salary: €7,000 per month
• Leave: 2.5 days leave accrued per month
• Joining a professional crew of 4
