Reiya Group is seeking a Deckhand to join a 30m+ Private Motor Yacht operating a Mediterranean program.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and hands-on deckhand looking to build experience on a well-run private yacht. The role is suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop within a professional crew environment.
The successful candidate will support all exterior operations, ensuring the yacht is maintained to a high standard while assisting with day-to-day deck duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily deck operations and exterior maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all exterior areas
• Support docking, anchoring and mooring procedures
• Assist with tender operations and watersports activities
• Carry out washdowns, polishing and general upkeep
• Follow safety procedures and assist with drills
• Support senior deck crew with maintenance tasks and projects
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored
Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ yachting experience preferred
• Motivated, proactive and eager to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Basic knowledge of deck operations and safety procedures
Package:
• Start date: Immediate
• Salary: €3,000 – €3,500 per month
• Leave: 30 days paid per annum (flexibility off season)
