Reiya Group is currently seeking a Chief Officer to join a 60m private motor yacht with a world cruising itinerary. Delivered in 2024, this modern vessel offers an excellent opportunity to join a hands-on, close-knit crew and be part of an exciting private program with exceptional owners.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive Chief Officer who thrives in a dynamic, adventure-driven environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent deck management skills and a passion for delivering the highest standards of safety and seamanship. Experience cruising the Pacific and an interest in diving or fishing will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a deck team of five, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Oversee all deck operations, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and yacht operational standards.
- Assist the Captain in navigation, passage planning and bridge watchkeeping duties.
- Supervise tender and water sports operations, ensuring safe and enjoyable guest experiences.
- Support the overall management of the vessel’s world cruising itinerary, adapting to diverse cruising regions.
Requirements:
- Chief Mate 3000gt certification (minimum).
- Previous experience as Chief Officer on yachts of similar size (55m–65m+).
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a deck team.
- Solid navigational, ISM, and maintenance knowledge.
- Experience cruising the Pacific is highly advantageous.
- Interest or experience in diving or fishing beneficial.
- Professional, dedicated, and eager to commit long-term to a strong crew culture.
Package:
- Salary: €8,000 per month.
- Rotation: Equal time rotation, 2 months on / 2 months off.
