Reiya Group is seeking an experienced Chase Boat Captain to operate a 40ft tender in support of a 40m+ private yacht running a busy dual-season itinerary. This is a live-aboard tender position suited to a capable, technically minded captain with strong tender-handling skills and engineering knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and manage a 40ft chase boat supporting the mothership
- Conduct guest transfers, watersports operations and logistical support
- Oversee all tender operations, including navigation, safety and compliance
- Maintain the chase boat to a high standard of presentation at all times
- Carry out routine maintenance, fault-finding and basic engineering repairs onboard
- Support deck operations including towing, beach setups and provisioning
- Liaise closely with the Captain and deck team of the 40m yacht
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, vessel policies and operational standards
- Assist with guest activities while maintaining a professional and service-focused approach
Requirements:
- Yachtmaster certification in hand
- Minimum 2 years’ yachting experience
- Proven experience handling large tenders / chase boats
- Strong engineering knowledge and technical background
- B1/B2 & Schengen visa in hand (if applicable)
- Available to join beginning of March
Package:
- Salary: Dependent on experience (competitive)
- Leave: 60 days per year
- Program: Private yacht, busy dual-season itinerary
