Reiya Group is seeking an experienced Crew Chef to join an 80m+ private/charter expedition yacht operating a world-cruising itinerary. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and passionate chef to join a well-established programme with a fantastic crew culture and positive onboard dynamic. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy, nutritious and varied meals for the crew, catering to different dietary requirements and preferences
- Plan creative and balanced menus incorporating a variety of international cuisines
- Manage daily meal preparation, provisioning, stock rotation and inventory
- Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and galley organisation
- Work collaboratively with the wider galley team, supporting the Head Chef when required
- Adapt menus and provisions to suit cruising itineraries and operational requirements
- Contribute positively to crew wellbeing and morale through consistently high-quality cuisine
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Crew Chef onboard private/charter yachts
- Strong culinary background with the ability to produce varied, healthy and nutritious meals
- Confident catering for different dietary requirements and international preferences
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage provisions efficiently
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and galley management
- Creative, adaptable and passionate about delivering high-quality crew cuisine
- Positive, approachable and team-focused personality
- Ability to work independently and perform well in a busy onboard environment
- Previous experience on larger yachts advantageous
- Comfortable with a world-cruising itinerary and expedition-style operations
- Available to join at the end of October
