Reiya Group is seeking an experienced 2nd Officer to join a prestigious 70m+ private/charter dual-season motor yacht. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly professional bridge team, taking ownership of key navigational, safety and compliance responsibilities while supporting the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Captain and Chief Officer, playing an integral role in maintaining the yacht’s bridge operations, statutory compliance and planned maintenance systems. Alongside an experienced bridge team, you will help ensure the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency and professionalism are consistently maintained throughout both private and charter operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for navigational duties, bridge watchkeeping and passage planning
- Maintain and support ISM, ISPS and onboard safety management systems
- Manage GMDSS communications and statutory bridge documentation
- Oversee navigational publications, charts and vessel records
- Support the management of planned maintenance systems and ensure compliance tasks are completed efficiently
- Assist with safety drills, inspections and vessel audits
- Work closely with the Chief Officer to ensure all operational and regulatory requirements are met
- Support deck operations during manoeuvres, guest operations and day-to-day vessel activities when required
- Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism, organisation and attention to detail across all bridge responsibilities
Requirements:
- OOW 3000GT Certificate of Competency in hand
- Previous experience as a 2nd Officer or experienced 3rd Officer on a similar-sized yacht
- Strong understanding of bridge operations, navigation and maritime regulations
- Good knowledge of ISM, ISPS, GMDSS and planned maintenance systems
- Highly organised with excellent administrative and communication skills
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude
- Available to join in August
