Chief Officer

Reiya Group is seeking a Chief Officer to join an 80m+ Private/Charter Yacht operating a busy cruising program.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated officer to join a well-established vessel with a strong crew culture and an active itinerary. The yacht will be operating back-to-back charters throughout the summer season, offering extensive operational experience and an engaging program.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the deck department, supporting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel while overseeing deck operations, safety management and crew development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the deck department
• Lead, train and mentor deck crew to maintain high operational standards
• Support the Captain with navigation, passage planning and bridge operations
• Manage deck maintenance schedules and project planning
• Oversee anchoring, docking, mooring and tender operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety, ISM and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate emergency drills, crew training and safety procedures
• Manage deck inventories, equipment and operational budgets
• Maintain high standards of presentation and professionalism throughout the exterior department
• Assist with guest operations and charter activities as required

Requirements:

• Chief Mate 3000GT in hand
• Previous experience as an Officer on similar sized vessels
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Excellent navigational knowledge and bridge management experience
• Professional, proactive and safety-focused approach
• Ability to thrive within a busy private/charter environment

Package:

• Salary: €7,000 per month
• 90 days paid leave
• Start date: Beginning of July
