Reiya Group is seeking an experienced 3rd Officer to join a 90m private motor yacht operating a dual-season itinerary.
This position is ideally suited to a candidate who already holds their OOW 3000GT and has proven experience across both bridge and deck operations. The yacht runs a solid and reputable programme with excellent crew retention and supportive owners, offering a positive working environment and strong opportunities for development within a well-structured deck team of 10.
The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, proactive and eager to contribute to both navigational responsibilities and day-to-day deck operations, while continuing to build on their career within a professional programme.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with safe navigation of the vessel, including watchkeeping duties
• Maintain up-to-date charts, publications and navigational equipment
• Support passage planning and bridge operations in line with the Captain’s instructions
• Ensure compliance with all safety management systems and procedures
• Assist with deck operations, including mooring, anchoring and tender operations
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the exterior to a high standard
• Support safety drills, training and emergency preparedness onboard
• Work closely with the deck team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required
Requirements:
• OOW 3000GT (minimum required)
• Type-Specific ECDIS certification preferred
• Proven experience in both bridge watchkeeping and deck operations
• Background in commercial shipping and/or yachting preferred
• Strong understanding of navigational procedures and safety standards
• Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Available to join as soon as possible
