We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic First Mate to join a 30m+ support vessel that forms part of a larger fleet. This is a single season yacht based in the Mediterranean.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dynamic, energetic and ready to step up into a First Mate role, while already bringing prior experience and confidence to the position. The successful candidate will be joining a small, tight-knit team and working closely alongside the Captain.
The role is a primarily deck-focused role (approx. 80% deck / 20% bridge), and would suit someone looking to gain further bridge experience while contributing to daily deck operations.
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Yachtmaster Offshore or higher, plus ECDIS certification.
- Previous deck experience is essential, with some bridge exposure and a few modules completed.
- Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Enthusiastic and career-driven, with a willingness to grow into the role.
Package:
- Salary: €4,500 – €5,000 DOE
- Bonus: 13th-month performance-based bonus
- Leave: 60 days paid
- Probation: 60 days
