We are seeking a Head of Service to join a reputable 70m+ private/charter motor yacht with a world cruising itinerary. This is an outstanding opportunity for a polished, proactive individual ready to lead a dynamic service team and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of interior service
- Managing, training, and mentoring the service team to ensure a consistently high standard of service
- Creating and maintaining service manuals and SOPs tailored to guest preferences
- Working closely with the Chief Stewardess and other department heads to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintaining impeccable presentation of all guest and service areas at all times
- Organising provisioning and inventory management for service-related supplies
- Assisting with guest itinerary planning in collaboration with the Captain and Chef to enhance guest experiences
- Ensuring a seamless and personalised service for owners and charter guests alike
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in similar Head of Service/2nd Stewardess or senior service roles on yachts 60m+
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on, supportive approach
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service, fine dining, wines, and cocktail presentation
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and tailor service accordingly
- Previous experience on both private and charter yachts preferred
- Confident, adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure
- B1/B2 visa is essential
- Fluent in English; additional languages an asset
